It’s hardly new to say that the high street is in trouble. With the growing influence, and now almost complete dominance, of online shopping, retailers are looking for further ways to make the high street more appealing.
Hoping to stop this from the happening, The Times report that a new organisation has launched with the intention of saving the high street. SaveTheHighStreet.org aims to show local shopkeepers the technology and tools that can boost their sales. The group will also host an event in central London on 10th August where they will release a ten-point “high street manifesto” for success in modern retailing.
